01 — Description
GIBC V2 is a fully online student hackathon hosted by Kang Chiao International School, Xiugang Campus. We bring together student builders, hackers, and creators from Taiwan and beyond.
Running from July 11 to September 21, 2026, GIBC V2 features three competition tracks:
Push a transformer to its limit. Architecture, data, training entirely your call.
Biomedical devices, health-tech tools, lab instruments, and pharmaceutical innovations.
Build anything — hardware, software, generative. No limits, no provided resources.
All submissions are hosted on Devpost, judged by 10–15 industry professionals, and celebrated at a closing award ceremony on September 28. KCIS Xiugang students may opt into a campus track for in-person collaboration.
02 — Submission
Clearly explain what you built, the problem it solves, and how it works.
Link to a public GitHub/GitLab repository with a README covering setup and usage.
2–5 minute video demonstrating your project in action.
List all technologies, frameworks, APIs, and tools used in your project.
All team members listed with real full names — mandatory for certificates.
At least 3 screenshots or images showing your project interface or setup.
03 — Rules
Open to all currently enrolled high school students. KCIS Xiugang students may opt into the campus track. All participants must register with their real names for certificate issuance.
Teams of 1–4 members. Cross-school and cross-track collaboration is allowed. No team size limit beyond Devpost platform constraints.
All projects must be original work created during the competition period. Pre-existing projects may not be submitted. Open-source libraries and APIs are allowed with proper attribution.
All participants must follow the GIBC V2 Code of Conduct. Harassment, discrimination, or unethical behavior will result in immediate disqualification.
Projects are judged on innovation, technical execution, impact, and presentation by 10–15 industry professionals. Judges' decisions are final. Results announced on September 28, 2026.
