WHAT'S INCLUDED
GIBC V2 is open to all students, developers, designers, and innovators aged 16 and above. No prior hackathon experience is required — we welcome beginners and experts alike!
We offer three tracks: LLM 50M PARAMS — build and optimize a language model under 50 million parameters; APPLIED (Med/Finance) — invent something that advances medicine and science, from biomedical devices to health-tech tools; and OPEN (General Invention) — build anything, no limits. Pick the one that fits your team's strengths!
Yes! GIBC V2 is fully online. You'll receive full access to virtual workshops, mentorship sessions, and submit your project via Devpost. KCIS Xiugang students can also join through the Taiwan Student, Hosted by KCIS XIUGANG student track.
Registration is completely free! Mentorship, access to workshops, and certificates are all included at no cost.
All participants must register with their real full names matching their official identification. Certificates of participation will be issued exactly as entered on the registration form. We cannot reissue certificates for fake or incorrect names, so please double-check before submitting.
KCIS Xiugang (Taiwan Student, Hosted by KCIS XIUGANG student) is exclusively for KCIS Xiugang students. If you select this option, you'll need to provide your student ID and grade. Online (Open to All) is for all other participants worldwide. Both options participate in the same competition — the distinction helps us manage Devpost verification and certificate distribution.
